Message from our Student Body President
Our ASB meetings are held every Thursday during 7th period in Mr. Shepherd’s room. With your teacher’s permission, feel free to drop by to share suggestions or ideas that can help us improve our school or create great events. While we in student government have lots of ideas, I believe it’s important to stay connected with the entire student body through your class representatives. We’ll also be setting up a suggestion box where you can provide feedback on how ASB can better serve you.
This year, we’re bringing back some of your favorite events, like the Teacher vs. Student Basketball game, the Talent Show, and the Clash of Classes. But this time, we’re planning to add some exciting new twists to make them even better!
We do need your support, as we’re planning more events this year, both on and off campus. One of the big events in the works is the Science Academy Olympics, but it won’t be a success without your participation. In the fall, we’re also planning to work with charities like Hope of the Mission to organize a clothing drive for those in need. To strengthen our sense of community, don’t hesitate to reach out to the student council if you need help promoting or supporting your sports team’s or club’s fundraisers. As an athlete myself, I know how challenging it can be to raise money for tournaments or supplies, and this year, you don’t have to do it alone. Contact me via email, send me a message on Schoology, or stop by one of our student council meetings so we can work together to support your team or club.
The student body isn’t just the elected officials—it’s every one of you, and together, we can bring your ideas to life!
Our vice presidents, Ryan Penhaskashi and Ryan Park, along with the rest of our ASB cabinet, are here to listen and help. You can trust them with your thoughts and suggestions on how we can make things better.
Thank you all, and I’m looking forward to an amazing year ahead!
